One Mr Koothaperumal is imprisoned for one year (Times Now) for accepting a bribe of INR 50/=. A cock was arrested by Police (Salem) for troubling people walking in the street (Reporter). Very good news in the morning. Who said that our investigating and prosecuting agencies are not working efficiently !
A researcher was conducting an experiment with a frog for his doctorate degree.
He placed a frog on a table and said, "Jump". It jumped four feet. Then he cut off one leg of the frog and said "Jump," and the frog jumped three feet.
Then he cut off the second feet and commanded it to "Jump". The frog could jump only two feet. Then he had cut the third leg and when he said "jump", the frog could jump only one foot.
Then he cut off the fourth and the last leg and commanded it to "Jump". Now, the frog could not jump.
The researcher wrote and submitted his thesis with the conclusion:
"When a frog loses all four legs it becomes deaf".
The thesis was rejected.
The reason cited for rejection of the thesis was:
The sample size was too..o small to arrive at the conclusion!!!

Reactions to the story has been varied ranging from "That is how research is done, Numbers are important to something more is important than logic". The best ones are:
- Men always conclude with insufficient evidence; and - Do frogs have four legs? I thought that they had only TWO!!
A letter between a Judge, a Chief Justice of HC and Chief Justice of India. Why not the present CJI intervene, check the letters in the registry of the court and tell what had happened instead of media telling us. Perhaps after 10 years when the CBI may not have any other work will be asked to look into this...and we c...ontinue to suffer in bad roads and many others suffer for a piece of roti..!!
The Almighty has opened the shower but failed to close it. Or is He/She taking a long bath in the shower! Younger children were given holidays..older children declared themselves one..and I chose to be at home, being with the children moving from computer to TV whenever they are available. When both are not, standing o...ut ..watching dogs, goats going on their way not bothering about the pouring rain!! A beautiful day!
Sitting inside the confines of the home...enjoying the rains...the darkness outside during the daytime itself...not listening to the news of scams, corruptions, murder, terrorist attack...etc. Not having power >electricity< is really good !!

Was a free bird moving around the city enjoying the nice breeze of course with all its pollutants..now arrested and imprisoned in an metallic prison but with the same freedom to move around and enjoying the controlled cool air...and the control of my speed has passed on from my hands to the legs...!
